Our Story

OUR VALUE PROPOSITION

USFRA is a 501(c)(3) organization representing more than 700,000 farmers and ranchers, along with leading agriculture organizations.

USFRA plays the critically important role of creating opportunities for collaboration, information-sharing and solution development for the full

ag value chain. We are a connective and unifying voice for U.S. agriculture.

Agriculture is often framed as a problem to be fixed. We work to change that narrative for the benefit of farmers and ranchers by lifting their

voices on the domestic and international stage. We create better understanding of how U.S. agriculture is helping solve many of society’s

challenges today, and its enormous potential to do even more in the future.

USFRA builds alignment on important issues, supports global market access and complements work done by ag trade associations, checkoff

organizations and value chain partners by focusing on longer-term challenges. We are forward-looking, we don’t accept the status quo and we

catalyze action.

resources for an energy transition – all while reducing impact on

the planet.

OUR OBJECTIVES

solutions on critical, long-term challenges.

Lift the voice of all farmers and ranchers on the

30 Harvests

Today farmers face the largest challenge of this generation – creating sustainable food systems and solving climate change. And they only have 30 harvests until 2050 to do it. Awarded a prestigious 2020 Webby Awards honorable mention, by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences, the 30 Harvests docudrama follows the plight of farmer Jay Hill of Dell City, Texas, and farmer and soil scientist Meagan Kaiser of Bowling Green, Missouri. In this film, they articulate the challenges farmers face while embracing the opportunity to meet the increasing demands to create sustainable food systems through the next 30 harvests, and ultimately help solve the greatest challenge of this generation: climate change.
