What are CSAs, and how fast are they and other urban farms growing in the U.S.?

People’s interest in how food is grown and raised has greatly increased. This interest has sparked a desire to start community and urban farms with a tremendous amount of growth over the past 20 years.

In addition, while there is not an official register for community supported agriculture (CSAs), it’s believed there are more than 4,000 CSAs across the country.
