Nancy grows soybeans, corn and wheat with her husband, Charles Hammer, in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. Her farm goals are to become more innovative and sustainable. Nancy has served on the United Soybean Board (USB).
Nancy served as USB’s representative to the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance and as a liaison to the Wisconsin Soybean Board. Nancy is also a past chairperson of the USFRA. She is involved with the Wisconsin Soybean Board, Wisconsin Corn Growers and Wisconsin Women in Agriculture.
Nancy believes the biggest issues facing the industry are sustainability, communicating modern agriculture to consumers and communicating consumer concerns to farmers. She thinks our biggest opportunity is embracing technology for sustainable, continuous improvements.
